Pepperstone kicks off partnership with Volt by launching PayID top-ups for Australian users
Sydney, 8th May 2026: Volt, the real-time, rail-agnostic money movement platform, has partnered with leading online FX and CFDs trading broker Pepperstone to support instant top-ups and withdrawals across its trading platform in Australia.
Pepperstone’s launch of PayID is a significant milestone in Volt’s rollout of consumer-friendly real-time payments. Each Pepperstone client can use a unique PayID alias or identifier that can be stored in their chosen bank account(s) and used to top up their account in seconds, without entering account details for every transaction. This supports seamless funding across different asset classes available on the platform, including digital assets.
The integration also enables Pepperstone to automatically attribute every incoming payment to the right client through their PayID alias, eliminating manual reconciliation and giving operations teams immediate visibility over consumer top-ups. For platforms managing high volumes of individual transactions, this removes a long-standing operational pain point and ensures funds are credited to the right account in real time.
Alongside top-ups, Pepperstone is using Volt’s Instant Payouts capability to deliver real-time withdrawals and refunds back to consumers’ bank accounts – a growing part of how the broker supports outbound flows, and a key driver of the user experience as consumers expect immediate access to their funds.
PayID is built on Australia’s New Payments Platform (NPP), enabling secure bank-to-bank payments with real-time settlement. Volt became an NPP Identified Institution earlier in 2026, enabling the company to offer expanded PayID and PayTo capabilities through Australia’s real-time payment infrastructure.
The partnership will expand over time in Australia, with PayTo and recurring payments planned as a next phase to give Pepperstone clients even more flexible, automated ways to fund their client accounts. Globally, this launch creates a pathway for Pepperstone to extend consistent, real-time payment experiences to its clients in the UK and Europe through Volt’s broader payment network.
Commenting on the partnership, Kristofer Rogers, Volt’s SVP Australia & New Zealand, said: “Consumers expect their money to move instantly, and platforms like Pepperstone need payments infrastructure that can keep up. By integrating Volt’s PayID and Instant Payouts, Pepperstone can offer its clients seamless, real-time top-ups and withdrawals – backed by automatic reconciliation that takes complexity out of payment operations.
“Through PayID via Volt, Pepperstone is leading the way in showing how unique aliases can transform the consumer payment experience while solving one of the biggest operational challenges for high-volume platforms: attributing payments accurately and at scale.”
Joshua Slatem, Pepperstone’s Head of Payments, added: “Providing our clients with fast, reliable funding and withdrawal options is central to the experience we offer at Pepperstone. Volt’s PayID integration allows our clients to top up their accounts in seconds using a simple alias, while Instant Payouts ensures they can access their money quickly when they need it. The automatic reconciliation that comes with PayID is a meaningful operational improvement for us, and we’re looking forward to extending the partnership with PayTo and recurring payments as a next step.”
