Yes. Volt is a fully regulated payments provider in the UK and Europe.

Volt operates under established UK and EU payments regulation:

• Volt Technologies Limited is authorised and regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) as an Electronic Money Institution under the Payment Services Regulations 2017 and Electronic Money Regulations 2011 (Firm Reference Number: 982594).
• Volt Technologies Holdings Limited is authorised and regulated by the FCA as a Payment Institution (FRN: 925340).
• Volt Technologies sp. z o.o. is authorised and regulated by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) as a National Payment Institution (ID: 635816).

For stablecoin acceptance (USDC and EURC), Volt works with BVNK, which provides the underlying, enterprise-grade stablecoin payment infrastructure. BVNK handles stablecoin acceptance, on-chain settlement, compliance checks and custody, while Volt orchestrates the end-to-end payment journey and settles merchants in fiat.

Volt does not yet hold a MiCA licence. Where crypto-specific regulatory permissions are required today, these are provided by BVNK as the regulated infrastructure layer. Volt remains the merchant-facing payments provider, delivering a compliant, enterprise-ready experience for merchants.

EURC is MiCA-compliant as an e-money token issued under EU regulation. USDC operates as a fully-backed, regulated USD stablecoin issued by a licensed financial institution, meaning it’s MiCA-compatible for cross-border use cases.

We support MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet and Phantom. Via WalletConnect, we support other compatible wallets that use the same connection standard.

We’re working on this, and we look forward to sharing further details in due course. For now, you can offer USDC or EURC at checkout and receive settlements in fiat (EUR or GBP, depending on your Account setup). We work with our regulated liquidity provider to convert stablecoin to fiat at the point of acceptance. This happens instantly and at the stablecoin’s 1:1 rate to its underlying currency (USD or EUR).
